Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the D&L Wichita Falls Insulation Company website, starting with our home page, and any work you hire us to do. By using this site, calling us or booking a job, you agree to them.
If a written estimate or contract we both sign says something different from these terms, that document controls for that job.
What we do
We're an insulation contractor in Wichita Falls, TX, and we work on homes and businesses in Wichita Falls and the cities around it. Our work includes attic, wall, crawl space and blown-in insulation, spray foam, air sealing, vapor barriers and removing old insulation.
You can read more about our crew on the About page. Service descriptions on this site are general, so the work we do on your job is the work your written estimate lists.
Estimates and pricing
Our estimates are free and done in person, because we need to see your attic, crawl space or walls before we can price the work honestly. Each estimate lists the work, the materials and the price, and it holds for the period written on it. There's no pressure to book.
The price can change if we find something once the job is open that we couldn't see at the estimate, such as old insulation that's wet or full of droppings, damaged framing or wiring problems. If that happens, we stop, show you what we found and give you the new price before doing any extra work. You won't be charged for added work you didn't approve.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We set a start date with you once you accept the estimate. Weather, material deliveries and conditions we find on site can move that date, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.
You agree to give our crew clear access to the work area, power where we need it and a path free of pets and stored items. On foam jobs we'll give you a re-entry time, which is when it's safe for people and pets to come back inside, and you agree to keep everyone out until then.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (940) 298-1123 as early as you can. If you cancel after we've ordered materials for your job or started work, you may owe for the materials and labor already spent, as your estimate explains.
Payment
Payment terms are written on your estimate or contract, including any deposit and when the balance is due. Unless that document says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.
If a balance goes unpaid, we may charge any late fees your agreement lists and recover the costs of collecting it where Texas law allows.
Our guarantee and warranty limits
Our work is satisfaction guaranteed. If something about the job isn't right, call us and we'll come back, look at it with you and work to make it right.
Any written warranty on our labor will be on your estimate or contract. Warranties on materials come from the company that makes them, not from us.
Beyond those written warranties, we don't promise results such as a set drop in your power bill or how a room will feel, because those also depend on your heating and cooling system, your ductwork and how the house is used. To the extent Texas law allows, all other warranties, stated or implied, are disclaimed.
Limits on our liability
We're fully licensed and insured, and we're responsible for damage our crew causes while doing the work. We aren't responsible for problems that were there before we started, such as roof leaks, mold, pests, faulty wiring or damaged framing, unless your estimate says we're fixing them.
We also aren't responsible for delays or losses caused by things outside our control, like severe weather. To the extent Texas law allows, our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid for that job, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses.
The information on this website is general and can change, and we don't promise it's complete or current for your house.
Settling a disagreement
If you have a problem with our work or a bill, call us first, because most issues get sorted out quickly when we can talk and look at the job together. If we can't settle it that way, either of us may ask for mediation before going to court.
Any lawsuit about these terms or our work will be brought in the courts serving Wichita Falls, Texas.
Texas law applies
These terms, this website and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time by posting the new version on this page. The version posted on the day you accept your estimate is the one that applies to that job.
